Cast   Alnico

The oldest permanent magnets ever produced are still now irreplaceable in measure or high temperature applications.

They are mainly obtained from Aluminium, Nickel, Cobalt and Iron fusion, followed by proper orientation heat-treatments.

They almost always need mechanical end-processing.

It's usually advisable to use "on site" magnetization because of their magnetic characteristic.

Sintered  Alnico

These magnets are also obtained from Aluminium, Nickel, Cobalt and Iron, "powder" reduced with tested granulometry.

In this case, thanks to the compression in specific shape moulds, it's possible to produce the required magnet directly, working it on the orientation size only.

This productive process is particularly competitive for small magnets.
